Early Grenade Crossbow Crafting Process in Path of Exile 2

During the campaign, you don't need a perfect weapon - just a solid one that supports your grenade skill scaling. The best starting point is a crossbow that features the "Increased Level of Skill Gem" modifier, which boosts the effectiveness of your main skill.

You can find such crossbows randomly at vendors throughout the Acts. Keep checking back after each major quest to refresh their stock. If you can't find one, don't worry - a few Orbs can bridge the gap.

Orb of Transmutation (to upgrade Normal to Magic rarity)

Crafting Steps for Early Game Grenade Crossbow:

4. Exalted Orb + Omen of Greater Exaltation

Use an Exalted Orb while the Omen of Greater Exaltation is active. This will add two extra modifiers to fill out the six-mod limit (three Prefixes, three Suffixes). If you don't have an Omen, you can skip it - the main goal is simply to fill the mod slots.
