Special attention should be paid to material protection when cleaning lace wigs. The following are specific cleaning guidelines:
Cleaning steps
Preprocessing
First, use a glue remover cotton to remove the residual glue on the wig bottom net, to avoid the glue affecting the cleaning effect during subsequent cleaning. ‌
Soak in warm water
Soak the wig in 20-30 ℃ warm water for 5-10 minutes to avoid prolonged soaking that may cause deformation of the lace mesh or hair loss. ‌
Gently clean
Use specialized wig shampoo (avoiding strong ingredients such as sulfates and alcohol), gently rub and press along the hair direction to clean, and do not rub or machine wash. ‌
The lace area on the forehead needs to be cleaned carefully. Residual glue in the inner mesh can be pre treated with adhesive remover, and then rubbed with hair conditioner before rinsing. ‌
Hair conditioner maintenance
After cleaning, apply a soft conditioner and gently comb each hair with a wooden comb until it is smooth and avoids tangling. ‌
Dry storage
Gently press and absorb water with a towel, then place it in a cool and ventilated place to air dry naturally. Do not use a hair dryer or external force to comb. ‌
Precautions
Avoid rubbing: Do not rub or wring out the wig during cleaning, as it may cause tearing of the lace mesh or hair loss. ‌
Water temperature control: The water temperature should not exceed 30 ℃, as high temperatures can cause the wig to deform. ‌
Frequency suggestion: It is recommended to have professional maintenance every 2-3 months, and daily use of a damp cloth to wipe surface dirt. ‌
