Mode of Selection:
If variety of applications are more, then selection committee will fix a requirements to shortlist the candidates. Only shortlisted candidates will be required the interview. Selection will be done on the basis of online interview through either Skype/Google Meet/Zoom or any other appropriate software application, as chosen by the skilled authority.
Applications got after the due date will be turned down. The short-listed candidates will be informed through e-mail/website.

The interview date will be communicated to the shortlisted prospects through e-mail.
Terms:
The engagement will be on simply short-term and legal basis for the duration pointed out in the advertisement. It is solely for the above mentioned research work and the tenure shall be co-terminus with the task period or till the conclusion of period whichever is previously. The engagement under this job does not provide any right/claim whatsoever either clearly or implicitly on the appointee for routine consultations in CSIR-NIO/CSIR, versus any post or otherwise under any legal conditions precedent. It would therefore, not give any right/claim, implicit or specific, on the part of the candidates for regularization/absorption versus any post in CSIR/NIO or under any other scheme of CSIR.
HRA will be paid based on the rules.
Incase of prospects certified with NET/GATE qualification, they may be considered for greater emoluments as per the DST policies of task staffs, based on the approval of task funds and approval of skilled authority.
Performance of the job personnel would be examined regularly so that any one not discovered as much as the mark, might be terminated with one month's notification or one month's stipend in lieu thereof.
